High Tea at Manly Pavilion

Throughout Winter 2011, Manly Pavilion is offering high tea by the seaside, with head chef Justin Barthelmess drawing on Coast of Almafi-esque influences to put a spin on the traditional high tea experience.

You won’t find simple sandwiches or scones with jam on this Italian style menu. Instead, cannoli, sweet pastries and pistachio clusters, frittata goats curd and cavalo nero. Upgrade from the basic high tea and you’ll receive three Italian wine matches to make lingering in the pavilion’s glamorous Mediterranean-inspired surroundings that much more satisfying.

The new concept is a fitting return to Manly Pavilion’s heritage — the building was originally a tearoom in the 1930s, complete with dances, card parties, foam baths and slimming courses for ladies.

Have a lovely day!… Anna
