Ravensthorpe Guesthouse & Restaurant

This week, we held our annual Illawarra, Southern Highlands and South Coast New South Wales cover shoot in the beautiful grounds of Ravensthorpe… Just look at this image above to see how beautiful it is. It was a wonderful day, and the Ravensthorpe staff provided us with great service, and a very yummy lunch! Special thanks to Hamish for all his help and for hosting our visit so beautifully. It is appreciated!

A little about Ravensthorpe

Ravensthorpe is a grand 19th century home purposely restored for contemporary celebrations. Built by Doctor A.W. Bateman in 1893, the accommodation is comprised of his original surgery (now the cottage) and his family home (converted to 3 European-style suites). At Ravensthorpe, you can enjoy three acres of heritage gardens in a beautiful rural setting, as well as an original tennis court and swimming pool.

With its stunning restaurant, you can experience
Ravensthorpe's classic cuisine in an intimate setting, reminiscent of a small French chateau.

Ravensthorpe even hosts high teas, and I am really looking forward to taking my mother there for a lovely high tea experience in spring time!

And finally, stay tuned for the launch of our stunning 2011 edition of The Bride's Diary - Illawarra, Southern Highlands and South Coast New South Wales. In the beautiful 2011 edition, you’ll find etiquette and advice about every aspect of wedding planning, as well as endless inspiration to help you style the perfect wedding.

Have a lovely day!… Anna
