Dunbar House

Along with The Tea Room QVB, Gunners' Barracks and Sergeants' Mess, The Tea Room Group has recently added yet another of Sydney's iconic landmarks to its acclaimed list of sophisticated event venues. Dunbar House, the magnificent historic mansion, is the latest addition to the group of venues owned and operated by the Tea Room Group, and with plans to restore the mansion to its former glory, it is set to become one of Sydney's most sought after reception venues.

Located just 30 metres from the shores of Sydney Harbour, in the expansive grounds of Robertson Park, Dunbar House is a historic mansion built in the 1830's. With restoration plans to begin shortly, the mansion will be relaunched as The Tea Room Dunbar House in early 2011. Boasting beautiful views of Watsons Bay, local beaches and the city skyline, Dunbar House is set to be a spectacular and truly unique setting.

With the capacity to host a reception of up to 150 people, you will be able to enjoy pre-reception drinks and canapés on the outdoor Harbour Terrace, followed by dinner and dancing in the dining room. Magnificent photo opportunities can be found in and around the venue, including stunning locations on the shores of Watsons Bay. Civil wedding ceremonies may be held in Robertson Park under the grand fig tree in front of the venue.

Dedicated event staff will work closely with you to ensure your reception details have been meticulously planned and food and beverage packages can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
